Initially operating as lettings management the business was created to look after a small portfolio of properties and the Beecroft's worked out of a back bedroom office in their own home. In the early days Roger and Jo did everything and worked extremely hard to not only establish themselves as management agents but also in building an excellent reputation in the Dearne Valley and South Barnsley area. "The ethos was, we wanted to be an agent people could trust" Jo told us. "The success of a thriving new business produced many opportunities" added Roger "So the Beecroft brand was launched and we opened our own high street office and also expanded in to sales". Fast forward 10 years later and following rapid growth, expansion and a number of acquisitions the company now employs 20 staff from two specialist offices in Barnsley managing over 1000 properties. Already property experts in the Dearne Valley, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster areas further investment into the branch network recently saw the opening of a brand new sales and lettings office at Mexborough which opened its doors in December 2016. Managed by Lynda Smith, assisted by Sales Valuation Manager David Swithenbank and property manager Joanne Barson the team have already become part of the local community and have proven to be an agent you can trust.
