5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is excellent, very central and close to the train station and a good range of shops and restaurants. Each house has allocated parking, my house has a garage which is useful. The development is next to a river with lovely views and has green spaces for residents included. The street is quiet and feels safe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
N/A - no issues raised yet, but I have been provided with a link to a website to report this.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The council are starting a new bin scheme in Ipswich where they are adding a new bin and there isn't room in the bin storage area outside the house, schedules may change also- can keep the other bin in the garage though, nothing else that I wasn't aware of so far

3Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is convenient and generally pleasant to live in. There is a good range of everyday shops nearby, along with cafés and takeaways, and larger supermarkets are easy to reach. Green spaces and riverside walks are a real bonus and make the area feel calmer than nearby towns. Transport links are reliable, with regular train services and decent road connections, although peak times can be busy. No Parking at all and the risk of fines makes it hard to unload shopping. bin collections are consistent and well managed. The area feels safe overall.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been slow to respond to issues, with limited communication and a lack of urgency. Problems often require repeated follow-ups before any action is taken, and some issues remain unresolved for long periods.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Communication was extremely poor at the start of the tenancy. We signed the contracts and moved in without receiving any meaningful information or guidance beforehand. The welcome email was not sent until four weeks after moving in, which caused issues with setting up the electric company and water supply. The parking situation was also not explained at any stage prior to moving in, which led to immediate and ongoing problems. Any basic information in advance would have been helpful and would have made the move-in process far smoother.

Everything seems to be close, the buses and a few establishments. You may have to drive for others but that can definitely be arranged.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Went well made sure they were in communication with Home ppl to rectify issues were were having proving our background and income etc.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The Viewing was nice and quick my old issue is when viewing properties, I would think the property would look presentable as if ready to move in. However it wasn’t quite that way.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location for the station and local buses, and town centre is a 10 mins walk. Cinema and gym over the road. Lovely walks along the river Gipping. If you're an Ipswich Town fan then the location is a bonus. So far seems very quiet and the only noise tends to be from the sirens going up the hill over the other side of the river. Parking can an issue as there are additional bays you can rent however they are always empty despite being told they are all allocated. Nothing available for visitors. Neighbours are friendly and quiet, however there are a couple of student properties which do cause issues at times with noise. Overall very good living here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Easy to log issues via the app. Beth responded quickly to an issue we had and it was sorted without any drama. Great service
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If you've lived in apartments for a long time then it can be hard getting used to three flights of stairs.
Manager's response4Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, we really appreciate it. We’re pleased to hear you’re enjoying the space in your home. It’s also great to know our team, especially Beth, was able to resolve your issue quickly and smoothly; we’ll be sure to pass on your kind comments. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with snagging items and the pedestrian walkway. As this is a new build, we do work closely with the developer to address any defects reported, and we always encourage residents to continue logging anything that needs attention so we can push for resolution. We also understand the frustration around parking and visitor spaces and are continuing to review usage and availability. Thank you as well for highlighting the community atmosphere; we’re glad to hear neighbours have been friendly overall. If there is anything further you’d like to raise, please don’t hesitate to contact the team directly; we’re always here to help.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is generally convenient and pleasant to live in, with a good range of nearby shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Public transport links are reliable and make commuting straightforward, and there are also some nice open spaces nearby for walks. The street itself is mostly quiet, with manageable traffic levels and regular bin collections. Parking can be limited at busier times, but overall it feels like a well-connected and comfortable place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues have been raised. Problems are acknowledged quickly and resolved within a reasonable timeframe, with clear communication throughout the process.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s a well-run and friendly development, so getting involved early and familiarising yourself with the building management systems and facilities makes settling in much easier.
Manager's response5Thank you very much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the design of the development, the communal spaces and the overall sense of security and upkeep. It’s especially encouraging to know you feel the building is professionally managed and provides a comfortable place to call home; that’s exactly what we aim to deliver for all residents. Thank you for recognising the responsiveness of the building management team. We work hard to ensure issues are acknowledged quickly, communicated clearly and resolved as efficiently as possible. We’re also really pleased to hear your positive comments about the landlord relationship, particularly around professionalism, fairness and clear communication; this is something we place a strong focus on. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for recommending us.
