Gramercy Tower, CF10
5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Gramercy Tower has been really convenient for day-to-day life because everything in Cardiff city centre is within walking distance. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby, so I rarely need to travel far. I like being close to Bute Park when I want some green space or a quieter walk. Transport links are great, with Cardiff Central station and regular buses close by, which makes commuting easy. Because it’s a central area, it can get busy and there is sometimes traffic or nightlife noise, especially in the evenings. Parking can also be limited, but bin collections are regular and overall the area feels lively and well connected.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We’ve had a positive experience with the maintenance team. Whenever an issue has come up, they’ve responded quickly, communicated clearly, and resolved problems effectively. Repairs have been completed to a good standard and with minimal disruption, which has made living here feel stress-free, well supported, and well looked after overall.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I don’t think there is anything I wish I had known before I moved here, even if there are problems or issues with the building, the Gramercy Team goes above and beyond to fix it and make sure we’ve got everything we need.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lots of things to do close by. The apartments are not far from the city centre, but are also nice and quite beside the canal. I love that I can walk into the city but can also enjoy a walk down the canal and see the swans swim past my window!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management has responded quickly and been able to resolve the few problems I’ve had.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There’s nothing I wish I had known prior to it again as all information was provided clearly from the start.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Woking is great for commuting to London and has good local amenities and shops. The buskers in the town centre can be very loud which is a minus if you live in the centre. There are a lot more dogs in town since The Marches opened with it's pet friendly policy. Nice place to live if you are young, fit and like dogs. Area is pretty safe but take care with your bike.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes and within the expected time frame. There was an issue with a faulty fire alarm which occured at midnight ( kept going off every few minutes - couldn't be stopped). Engineer arrived approx 5 hours later.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Get a copy of the history of amenity fixed costs (electricity, heating, cooling) and also of recent annual rent increases for the apartment you are interested in.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The convenience of the location is excellent, with many marts nearby and a mall within close proximity. Public transportation is very accessible, with bus stops and train stations just a short distance away. The building itself offers a wide range of facilities, ample parking availability, and an organised waste management system with a designated bin collection room. The area is free from traffic noise, making it a very peaceful, comfortable, and serene place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management responds quick and resolves issues well
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Community is quiet, friendly, and very convenient.

The Arches, LE3
5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Arches is just on the outskirts of the city centre, meaning it’s the perfect location for accessibility but without the rush of being too central. You have a good selection of shops, supermarkets within walking distance, and can walk to the centre in 10mins or so to get to the bars and restaurants.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not applicable as we haven’t had any issues since moving in.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would’ve known you can’t choose your own utility company, as the one in place seems a bit pricey.
