Our journey began with the restoration of the historic Old Fort Estate on Bequia in The Grenadines — a family project grounded in craftsmanship, preservation, and respect for island heritage. What started as a personal commitment to restoring a landmark property evolved naturally into a dedicated real estate advisory built on integrity, relationships, and genuine hospitality.

Founder – Quirin Shaedle

Quirin has been based on Bequia for over 40 years, growing up alongside the restoration of the Old Fort Estate and gaining first-hand experience in construction, development, and property stewardship. He understands the islands not only from a professional perspective but from lived experience.

After earning a degree in Marketing & Hospitality in London and refining his expertise through roles in Europe’s leading hospitality environments, Quirin returned to Bequia in 2005 to become Director of the Old Fort. His background combines international standards with intimate local knowledge — a foundation that defines Real Grenadines today.

Since inception, the agency has evolved from villa rentals and property representation into a full-service advisory guiding clients through luxury acquisitions, land investments, and high-end rentals — always with transparency, professionalism, and personal attention.

1978 – The family begins restoring the historic Old Fort Estate, laying the foundation for what would later become Real Grenadines.

2005 – Real Grenadines is formally established as a boutique property and rental specialist.
