Halls Close is a fabulous family friendly area with number 41 being an excellent, well-priced, versatile family home offering three or even four bedrooms. The garage was professionally converted years ago for you to use as you please, making an ideal office, playroom, bedroom four, hobby room etc.
As we pull up outside, there's a parking area for at least two cars, as well as an area of lawn that's perfect for future improvement, that is if you need more parking. The outlook from the front of the home is over scrubland with trees, so it's completely private, which is quite unusual for an estate like this. Home is located on a no-through road, ideal if you have children who like to play outside......quite rare, I know!
As we open the part glazed front door, we walk into a bright and decent sized entrance porchway. It's first class for playing host to wet shoes and coats, before we open the door and step into the main lounge.
This is a lovely room, perfectly sized to fit one of those fashionably large corner sofas that seem so En-Vogue today. Some stylish decorative panelling adorns the tastefully coloured walls, offering space above for any size flat screen TV. A large window looks out over the fabulous front aspect of the home, where there is not another home in sight. There's lots of natural light pumped into this room, and the light wood effect flooring also helps keep it bright.
A door opens to reveal an inner hall with stairs rising to the first floor and doors open to more rooms. The first we'll enter leads us into what would have originally been the garage. Professionally converted years ago into a more useful space, because let's face it, cars are no longer made of sugar and last a lot longer when left outside!
This is a room that can be used for any number of purposes; bedroom four, and it would be ideal for an elderly relative, as there is a cloakroom located right next to it. If you work from home, then this is a great space, especially with the scenic outlook. Or a fabulous playroom, hobby or games room. A useful storage cupboard is found on the left hand side as you walk in. At the far end, a window helps let the natural light flow in, with more of that light wood effect flooring welcoming us into this excellent space.
Back to the hallway and past the stairs, we come to the cloakroom and as you'd expect, the usual suspects can be found in here! A contemporary toilet and wash hand basin, then a radiator to helps keep the towels nice and toasty. Once you've had the pleasure of having a cloakroom, you will never want to be without one again.
Next, we walk into the kitchen / dining room, and this is everything you could ask for in a room with such a name. You can comfortably sit and eat in here without feeling crammed in. A set of patio doors sits at the dining end of the room and, when open, allows that Alfresco Dining experience that we really only get when we're abroad. A clever wood-effect tiled floor makes for easy maintenance and also offers a lovely aesthetic feel to this rather splendid room.
At the kitchen end of the room, we find everything you'll need in order to create some culinary masterpieces. If you like entertaining friends or family, then you'll never miss out on any of the action from here. Solid wooden word-surfaces cover three walls and offer a place for all of the 21st century gadgets that we've become so reliant on today. Stylish glossy floor and wall mounted storage units provide a home for all your essentials. A window offers views over the enclosed rear garden, and supplies more natural light inside.
The rear garden has been well thought out, with fake grass replacing all the time consuming real grass, no more lawn mowers here! A patio area directly outside the patio doors, provides a welcome space for a BBQ set and some garden furniture. Here, the party can continue outside, and there's plenty of room for a jacuzzi to be added... funds permitting!
Back inside and up the beautifully crafted turned staircase, we come to the first-floor landing, obviously! At the top of the stairs is what we typically call "the airing cupboard"....it's a useful space to keep all the airing you own in!
The main bedroom is at the front of the house and offers a nice view over the front aspect. The beauty of this home is that there are no neighbours looking back at you; here you have some lovely views, lovely for a house on an estate! There's ample room in here for a large bed with bedside cabinets, and a dressing area, before you step into the handy en-suite.
With a modern suite comprising of a fully tiled shower cubicle, pedestal wash hand basin, and then the toilet. A frosted window keeps it light and stops any prying eyes from peeping in.....if there were any, but it's not that kind of area! This is a great addition to your home, so the kids can have their bathroom and you adults can keep yours sacred!
The next bedroom, again, is a decent sized double, not as large as the main, but that would be expected. You can fit a double bed in here as well as other items of free-standing furniture, and the window here looks out over the rear garden and also provides plenty of natural light.
The smallest bedroom is as it says, smallest. Although saying that, it's the largest smallest bedroom I've seen in a home 'like this'. I think you could easily fit a double bed in, however, your choice of additional furniture may be limited. But this is a room that most youngsters can only dream of, me being one of them (if I were young again). A window looks out over the rear and provides a great place for some stargazing!
The final room upstairs is the family bathroom. Here we have a contemporary suite that comprises of; a panel bath, pedestal wash hand basin with vanity unit around it, and last but by no means least, the very useful toilet. Some stylish part tiled walls are there for water protection as well as decoration, and the dark wood effect floor finish this whole space off nicely.
