Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The residence is located in a very convenient location, walking distance from the Manchester city centre. There are two supermarkets which are open 24 hours a day in a few minutes away. The Salford Central railway station is just 5 minutes from the accommodation.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management responded to the issues we raised promptly and made sure the issues were rectified at the earliest.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The management uses the service of a third party to arrange the utility supplier accounts ready when new tenants move in. If a previous tenant has changed to another electricity supplier during their tenancy without informing the management it may go unnoticed and there may be multiple suppliers claiming to supply the apartment. It’s always a good idea to confirm with the national grid when you move in who is the actual supplier and close any additional accounts.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on Suffolk Street Queensway is incredibly convenient. Being right in the heart of Birmingham, we have the Mailbox and Grand Central just a short walk away for shopping and dining. Transport links are excellent with New Street Station so close, though the city center noise is expected. It’s a vibrant, busy area that’s perfect for professionals.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team is very responsive. Whenever I've raised a minor issue, they’ve handled it quickly. Abdul at the reception is especially proactive; he ensures that any maintenance requests or parcel queries are followed up on immediately, which is much appreciated.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how much of a difference a good reception team makes! Having Abdul there to greet you and help with logistics like deliveries makes the move much smoother. Also, it’s worth noting that while the area is central and busy, the building itself feels very secure and private.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

everything is close by, nice architecture, lovely granite buildings, nice view of Union Terrace Gardens, probably the nicest part of the city centre

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

they have responded quickly and offered solutions, done checks and kept on top of things

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had seen more of the roof terrace it is truly impressive

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve had an amazing 10 month at Granary, honestly an absolute belter of an experience and I’m so sad that my time is up. From introductions, the team have been wonderful, professional and highly approachable, and always ready with a smile — no matter what the situ. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, with issues, concerns or queries dealt with ASAP. The staff work incredibly hard behind the scenes, and it shows. The building is always immaculate, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s a genuine sense that they care about all residents. The amazing residents events, arranged and hosted have added so much to the spirit of everyone through a fantastic 2025 river Clyde summer, and will be in my memories for years to come. Like a very good Clydeside Distillery’s “wee dram” it is rare to find a team so there for you, and heart warming all the time. “Bidh mi ag ionndrainn a h-uile duine agaibh” (I will miss every one of you.) 💙

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly dealt with as quickly as humanly possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

These properties are highly efficient from a rental market perspective compared to old rentals in the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Professional management and excellent staff support throughout my three-year stay. Special appreciation to Mohamed Abady Jaye Best and Jose Simao for their dedication and professionalism.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management was always responsive, helpful, and proactive in addressing any concerns, ensuring issues were resolved quickly and effectively.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

wish I had known how professional and supportive the building management team would be, as it made living here much easier and more enjoyable than expected. My advice to new neighbours is to communicate openly with the management—they are very responsive and helpful.
