Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very convenient and well connected. There are plenty of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and small shops within walking distance, which makes daily life easy and comfortable. Being in the city centre means transport links are excellent and everything is easily accessible. Despite the central location, the street generally feels safe and manageable. There can occasionally be some city noise at busier times, but overall it is a practical and enjoyable area to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has always been very responsive and professional. Whenever I raised a maintenance issue, they acknowledged it quickly and arranged repairs without unnecessary delays. Communication was clear and efficient, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I genuinely felt that any concerns were taken seriously and handled responsibly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known earlier how easy it is to build connections within the building. The management team regularly organises social events for residents, which makes it very easy to meet new people and get to know your neighbours. The community atmosphere is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Many residents are respectful and considerate, which creates a positive living environment. The events are well organised and often include complimentary bakery treats, which is a lovely touch and encourages interaction.

They are are extremely responsive and always easy to reach.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

West Street is one of Sheffield city centre’s main social hubs, especially for food and nightlife. It’s packed with bars, pubs and restaurants — from casual BBQ and Japanese eats to cocktail bars and traditional pubs, meaning lots of options within a short walk West Street’s central city-centre location means excellent transport links Exceptionally convenient: shops, pubs, restaurants, transport, and city centre amenities on your doorstep. Within walking distance of theatres, galleries, universities and shopping areas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had fewer than 3 repairs needed in 18 months and all repairs were done swiftly and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If your are interested in a hobby or club, the James does fantastic job to allow and provide for clubs or interests that the residents may have.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Centre of Sheffield, easy access to everywhere especially if you’re a student at the University of Sheffield. Lots of nice restaurants and groceries.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They would respond everything within 3 days and if the matter is big or urgent they would respond within a day which is much faster than any other accommodations I have ever stayed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good side: I didn’t expect how everything is maintained so well and frequently as I have seen many properties that look good outside but have many small problems in the corners. However, here it’s always at a high standard in every detail. Bad side: Neighbors have lots of very cute pets, that might make you feel jealous if you don’t have one!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

West street noise is practically non existent from the back of the building and the windows are great and sound proofing. It’s also right next to bars, supermarkets and public transport

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Ventilation was fixed after the rooms were not venting properly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How good the events are. The sense of community from living here
