The historic market town of Framlingham is about 7 miles to the south, offering an excellent range of shopping, recreational and educational facilities in both the public and private sectors. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is easily accessible some 15 miles to the east. InterCity services run regularly from the county town of Ipswich, which lies 22 miles to the southwest, to London’s Liverpool Street Station. The market town of Diss, 12 miles to the north west, also offers regular Intercity services to London’s Liverpool Street and to Norwich.
