Description
SPACIOUS, MODERN, AND PERFECTLY POSITIONED – A BEAUTIFUL BUNGALOW AWAITS!
Our Agent Jodie Says:
“Tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac, yet only a short stroll from shops and amenities, this delightful 3-bedroom bungalow offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. From the moment you approach, the property has fantastic kerb appeal, with a large driveway that leads to a single detached garage and neatly maintained low-maintenance front gardens.
As you step inside, you're immediately greeted by a wonderful sense of space. The entrance hall is bright and inviting, with a generous built-in wardrobe featuring sliding doors, offering a practical place for coats and shoes. I love how the layout flows, with the living room located at the front of the property. The large window lets in an abundance of natural light, making the room feel airy and open. This room, like the rest of the house, feels fresh, modern, and ready to move into.
At the heart of the home is the kitchen diner, positioned at the back and overlooking the garden. The dining space sits in front of patio doors, creating a lovely connection with the outside. The kitchen itself is spacious, with plenty of storage in the form of sleek white units and ample counter space, with a pop of orange to giving a great feel to the room! One of my favourite features is how the kitchen flows seamlessly into a practical utility area, complete with a side door giving easy access to the garden.
The three bedrooms are all generously sized, but for me, the standout has to be the main bedroom. Not only is it spacious, but it also comes with a separate dressing room, a large and impressive space which can accommodate lots of wardrobes! A bright, airy, and super practical space for getting ready. At the back of the dressing room is a handy WC, making this area feel even more convenient.
The other two bedrooms are well-sized, with a second double and a spacious single, perfect for family or guests. The main shower room is modern and inviting, offering a lovely space to relax.
Outside, the low-maintenance garden is a perfect complement to the home. A large patio spans the back of the property, offering plenty of room for seating and flower pots, ideal for enjoying the sunshine. The artificial lawn area is practical and neat, with direct access to the driveway and a side door into the garage, making it super easy to access everything you need.
I really love how this home combines convenience, comfort, and practicality, with each room designed to make life just that little bit easier. Whether you're relaxing in the spacious living areas or enjoying the private garden, this property really has it all!”
Our Sellers Thoughts:
“The bungalow is in a very quiet part of Mickleover. It's close to shops, doctors, buses and 12 minute walk into the village with all the necessary amenities. The neighbours live in bungalows and are all friendly. They all look after their properties so the whole area looks good. It has been the perfect place to retire.”
The Area:
Mickleover is a fantastic village for the whole family, full of essential amenities there are five primary schools throughout the village, which feed into Murray Park Secondary School in Mickleover or John Port Academy in neighbouring Etwall. At the start of Station Road, there’s a Tesco Supermarket and a petrol station as well as an array of shops on Uttoxeter Road including a Post Office, Birds, a charity shop and takeaway restaurants. The buses run frequently into the City Centre which also pass Royal Derby Hospital on the way through with easy access to the major road links including the A38, leading to the A50 and the A52 towards the A6.
