Greater London Properties Present
A spacious one bedroom share of freehold apartment situated on the ground floor of a highly sought-after red brick mansion block, Queen Alexandra Mansions.

The Property
Spanning over 530 sq ft this lovely apartment boasts high ceilings and large sash windows that bathe the interiors in natural light, enhancing the sense of space throughout. The accommodation comprises a generous living room ideal for relaxing, a spacious double bedroom complete with wardrobe, a large fully equipped kitchen-diner with plenty of space for entertaining and ample storage, a fully tiled bathroom featuring a bath, shower and sink. The property has plenty of storage space with built in cupboards in the hall and bathroom.

The apartment has a warm, homely feel and offers a rare sense of tranquillity despite its prime central location. It would suit both owner-occupiers seeking character and convenience, as well as buy-to-let investors looking for a strong income-generating asset in a consistently high-demand area.

Residents benefit from a resident-only rooftop terrace and the convenience of an on-site caretaker, adding both practicality and prestige to this charming period building.

Location and Transport
Queen Alexandra Mansions is located within the distinctly affluent and historic district of Bloomsbury. The property enjoys immediate access to some of London’s most prestigious amenities. The vibrant Brunswick Centre, including a large Waitrose just minutes away, as are University College London, the British Library, world-class restaurants, hotels and cultural landmarks.

Transport connectivity is exceptional, with Kings Cross St Pancras Underground and mainline services, and direct international access via the Eurostar at St Pancras International all within five minutes walk. London’s international airports are easily accessible, further enhancing the appeal of this prime Central London address.

This superb Bloomsbury apartment combines period elegance, lifestyle convenience and outstanding connectivity, making it a rare opportunity in one of London’s most enduringly desirable neighbourhoods.

What the Owner Says
It’s a brilliant location, right in the heart of one of the most exciting cities in the world. There’s something very special about opening the main door and leaving a busy London street for a huge, tranquil, ‘secret’ courtyard full of greenery – or watching fireworks on the Thames from the roof terrace.

Initially I was a bit tentative about a ground floor flat, but high ceilings and large windows make it a light, cheerful space. The ground floor location means that it’s bigger than many upstairs one-beds, and there’s lots of storage. The building feels calm and safe, and I've walked home all hours from theatres or music venues with no issues.

Everything is on your doorstep and central London is easily walkable, so you can make the most of standby tickets and last-minute get-togethers without worrying about transport home. There are also lots of green spaces nearby. The huge range of transport connections make it an easy meeting point for friends, and it’s possible to be anywhere from the seaside to Paris in a couple of hours by train. I genuinely can't remember the last time I needed to take a taxi!
