5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are sometimes bad actors in the local neighborhood that will try and break into your car. you can mitigate this by paying for a parking spot, but it is much cheaper to get a yearly parking pass. Also, the resident permit zones are stupid and prioritize centre mk customers / workers over residents that pay premium £ to live at Solstice. not the fault of Grainger or Solstice, but it sucks
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They quickly assessed whatever my complaint was and did their best to sort it out in a timely manner and provided prompt updates.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known about the parking situation, as well as the quality of service provided by Glide. If im honest, they suck. Customer service is horrible from them when you have issues, the security protocols are weak & the internet speeds are extremely slow, even if you upgrade to a higher tier of service. Please fix this, get rid of them and find a more responsive ISP.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area has a good mix of local shops and a large supermarket nearby, which makes day-to-day errands easy. There are a few decent restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a couple of friendly pubs that feel welcoming rather than rowdy. Green spaces are a real highlight — there’s a well-kept park close by that’s great for walks and fresh air. Transport links are generally reliable, with regular bus services and a train station within a short drive, although peak times can get crowded. On my street, parking can sometimes be tight in the evenings, but bin collections are consistent and the area feels safe with very little anti-social behaviour. Traffic noise is minimal apart from occasional rush hour periods.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has generally responded in a professional and polite manner. While minor issues have sometimes taken a little longer than expected to resolve, they do acknowledge concerns and keep residents updated. Overall, they are approachable and willing to help when problems are raised.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
wish I had known how limited parking can be during evenings and weekends, as it’s not something you really notice during a daytime viewing. I’d also say it’s worth introducing yourself to neighbours early on — the community is friendly

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in my apartment is very convenient and comfortable. It is very close to the shopping centre and the city centre park, so everything I need is within walking distance. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and open spaces nearby, and the gym is also very convenient and easy to access. Transport links are good, with reliable connections to other areas, including London. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and the street is generally quiet and well maintained. Overall, it is a very pleasant place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There was an initial matter at the start of my tenancy related to pre-move-in communication. However, since moving in, any matters I have raised with the on-site team have been handled promptly and professionally. Responses are quick, communication is clear, and issues are resolved efficiently. The on-site staff are friendly and approachable, and they regularly organise community activities, which help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Overall, my experience with the building management team has been good.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The bin storage area is located outside the building, so you need to go outdoors to dispose of rubbish and then return inside. It’s not a major issue, but it’s useful to be aware of, especially during colder or rainy weather.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This is the centre of Milton Keynes, so the main shopping centre is very close, with all essential shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. It is a very convenient and pleasant area to live in. So far, I have not experienced any issues. I initially expected more noise due to the central location, but the flat has excellent sound insulation, which makes it very quiet and comfortable. Waste disposal is straightforward, with a designated area for collection, and I have had no problems with this. The building has its own parking, although it is more expensive than street parking directly in front of the building, where there are usually spaces available. I have not used public transport yet, so I cannot comment on that aspect.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
So far, I have not had any issues, only a few questions, all of which were answered very quickly and clearly by the building management team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing in particular. All relevant information was clearly available on the company’s website and was also explained to me before I moved in.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Range of shops is fantastic The solstice building is ideally located for a quick pop to the shops or an afternoon out perusing CMK for deals and new wardrobe pieces. The walk to the station is also an attractive aspect of the building. It's 15mins downhill there.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quickly and efficiently I have not had problems recently, but the app used to raise tickets is monitored well.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I feel I have learned a lot having lived here for 4years. Unsure on one specific thing I didnt know back in 2021, apart from the fluctuations to car park cost.
