La Azohia is a small, Greek-island-esque port situated on the outskirts of the Bay of Mazarron, with mountains and hills just behind.  The small port is an idyllic, quaint, very Mediterranean fishing area, and has protected, translucent waters, making this a great spot for diving enthusiasts. The beaches are guarded by the Torre de Santa Elena, restored a few years ago, listed as a Site of Cultural Interest.
