Santa Ponsa is a tourist village located on the privileged west coast of Mallorca and within the municipality of Calvií. Developed in the surroundings of a bay, with the main beach of Santa Ponsa in the background and a natural harbor that welcomes numerous pleasure boats. This place has great historical significance due to the arrival of King James I of Aragon on September 9, 1229, which led to the first battles for the conquest of Mallorca. Every year this event is remembered at the end of the summer with the festivities of King Jaume, which have different types of activities. Such as the parade of the landing, the battles and food and craft stalls among others.

Santa Ponsa offers to its visitors the possibility of practicing golf, diversity in stores, restaurants, impressive views all along the coastline and a great variety of beautiful trails. The distances to the capital Palma de Mallorca are 20 minutes and 30 minutes to the airport.
