A large recess under the stairs is crying out for a bespoke shelf unit to be crafted to house shoes and other unsightly items. Doors open to the kitchen at the far end and to the lounge.


The lounge is a generous size, with a bay window at one end and glass panel doors at the other. Currently, this room plays host to a large amount of furniture, without it feeling crammed. If you were a little bit more minimalist, this room would feel massive. Thanks to the windows at both ends of the room, the light levels remain very high. Seating arrangements are waiting to be arranged in front of the large wall that can house any size of flat screen TV that seem so 'En-Vogue' today.


Opening the glass panel doors at the end of the lounge, we step inside the dining room. This is open to the kitchen, making this the go-to space in the home. You'll probably spend most of your time in here, depending on how you configure it, as this really is the main hub. With a window and a set of patio doors, it's kept full of natural light, with some wood effect flooring to add more style. This room is capable of taking a large dining table and chairs as well as other types of furniture, so entertaining should be high on your checklist.


At the other end of the room is the kitchen. Fitted into as U-shape with floor and wall mounted glossy storage units, with work-surfaces that fit around three walls and provide ample space for food preparation, as well as a place for those 21st century gadgets that we've become so reliant on today. A window looks out over the rear south facing garden for when you're doing the washing up.....but before you start screaming 'WASHING UP'!!!....there is an integrated washing machine!


This is a room where you can cook, and your guests can relax and enjoy their time with you. Guests can also include your children, I don't want to just make out that this room is only for dinner parties; it's a social place for all to enjoy.


If we step outside the patio doors, the South facing garden is as low maintenance as you could wish for. A large patio area sits directly outside and provides a large area for BBQs, as well as sunchairs and other summer ware. At the far end of the garden is an area of decking, which makes a nice place to sit and chat, soak up the sun while drinking a bottle of chilled win...or a nice cuppa, which ever suits best......I know which, our little secret!


Through the glass panelled door we step back into the hallway, where the stairs lead us to the first floor. Eventually, we come to the landing, where at the top, a window helps keep it nice and light. Doors open to the four bedrooms, family bathroom as well as a useful store cupboard.


The main bedroom offers a generous space to put a large double bed as well as side tables. A wall of fitted wardrobes provides a home for all of your clothes, with a window letting enough natural light in so you don't have to get dressed in the dark.


A door from the main bedroom opens to the handy en-suite. Like the cloakroom, this is again fitted with a modern contemporary suite that consists of a pedestal wash hand basin, a toilet, and a shower cubicle with fully tiled walls. Once you've had an en-suite, you'll never be without again.


There are a further two double bedrooms, each capable of taking large beds and still offering room for more free-standing furniture. This is a home where, if you have children, they won't be squabbling over who has which room.


The smallest bedroom, bedroom four, could at a push, take a double bed, although your choice of extended furniture maybe some what limited, but not impossible. This room is, however, currently being used as a home office, and it does so very comfortably.

We have a pedestal sink, the obligatory toilet of which we'd be lost without, a panel bath with glass shower screen and a fitted hand held shower attachment, offering the best of both worlds.
