Description

This mature SEMI-DETACHED HOUSE is set within an established residential area in the popular village of Kingskerswell and has been a loved family home for our client’s family over twenty years. The property benefits from tandem driveway parking and a generous rear garden with a desirable westerly aspect, perfect for enjoying afternoon and evening sunshine. Open views are enjoyed across the surrounding district towards the rolling Devon hills. The house has been attractively priced to reflect the opportunity for some general modernisation.

Kingskerswell is ideally positioned between the coastal town of Torquay and the historic market town of Newton Abbot, offering excellent commuter links, whilst the village retains a strong community feel with amenities including a Nisa local shop, medical centre, primary school and a beautiful parish Church dating back to the 14th century. The picturesque Kerswell Downs with open meadows and wooded glades are also easily accessible.

OWNER'S INSIGHT

Our family has loved this home for over twenty years. During that time it has been the heart of countless happy moments, from everyday family life to watching our daughter grow up here and create memories of her own. It has truly been a wonderful place to call home. Leaving will be an emotional step for us, but we feel the time is right to downsize and pass the house to a new family who can enjoy it and make their own memories. Kingskerswell itself has always been a big part of why we loved living here. It has a genuine village feel, with a welcoming community and everything you need close by. The primary school is just at the end of the road, and several pub restaurants nearby, along with local shops, a Church, and a medical centre. The location is wonderfully central, offering easy access to both Torquay and Newton Abbot, Torbay Hospital and the Willows shopping district. We hope the next owners will love this home and this village just as much as we have."
