Description

Set within the historic Benyon Arms, a charming former public house dating back to the mid-19th century and later converted into residential apartments, this wonderfully bright two-bedroom apartment at 155 De Beauvoir Road offers spacious accommodation, an excellent layout, and far-reaching views. Large windows flood the property with natural light, while high ceilings and generous proportions create an impressive sense of space throughout.

At the centre of the home is an impressive open-plan reception room, carefully arranged to provide distinct areas for both dining and relaxation. The generously sized kitchen sits seamlessly within this space, creating an ideal setting for modern living and entertaining alike.

There are two well-proportioned double bedrooms, thoughtfully positioned at either end of the apartment to provide an excellent degree of privacy, together with a large family bathroom. The result is a home that feels both elegant and highly practical.

The apartment is ideally located for enjoying all that De Beauvoir has to offer, with an excellent selection of local pubs, cafés and amenities nearby, including the much-loved De Beauvoir Deli. The area is also well connected, with convenient transport links from the Overground as well as numerous bus routes, making access to the City, Shoreditch, Islington and beyond both quick and straightforward.

Owner’s Insights

What do you love about your home?
The light that comes through the large windows is something I’ve always loved, and the high ceilings make the flat feel incredibly spacious. The room sizes are also very generous. Being two storeys above the road gives it a lovely outlook, and there is a real sense of community between the six flats in the building. We meet regularly to discuss residents’ matters, and the communal areas are always kept very clean and tidy.

Why are you selling?
The time has come where I need to be closer to my family.

What do you love about the area?
The transport links are excellent, the neighbourhood is very friendly and has a great community feel, and there are great local amenities close by.
