THE HOUSE ON THE STRONGHOLD. Capturing this gem nestled among the narrow streets of Roccanolfi (in the municipality of Preci, Perugia) is truly a challenge, and only by visiting it can one appreciate the uniqueness of this little haven. You reach the front door on foot; you have to leave your car a few steps below and climb a few flights of stairs. It feels like stepping back in time; you feel like a traveller from centuries past, immersed within these ancient walls, among these thick rocks that form part of the houses they support. A charm and beauty that make us forget everything outside. There is a total absence of noise. The property spans 3 floors for a total of about 150 square meters; the rooms are stacked one above the other, are bright, overlook the valley and the village, and the green forest across the way; they feature wooden beams and stone walls. On the ground floor, there is a space entirely carved out of the rock. There are also two separate entrances: one on the ground floor, adjacent to a large room that is also part of the property, and one on the third floor, which is reached by continuing up the road. The house has been renovated and left in its raw state. It has a small plot of land that overlooks the town walls, large enough for a deck chair, a beach umbrella, or a small vegetable garden—you choose whether to relax or work!!!!
