It is very convinient since its oocated near the city centre and there is also a bus stop nearby which is very good

I remember once my fridge broke down and they immediately replaced it with a new fridge

It’s in the city centre so you’ve got everything you want but that’s where the good aspects stop. There’s traffic noise if you open your window, drunk people usually outside and in the car park. Security often let drunk people in the reception area waiting for taxis.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issue I’ve raised has been met with hostility. The staff do not take accountability and when raising issues I often feel belittled and made to feel like I’m in the wrong. Phone calls go unanswered & emails ignored when raising issues but they’re fast enough to email accusing people of things they haven’t even done.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew how many airbnbs and international students live in the building. I was told it was working professionals but met with groups of 18 year olds or drunks in the reception when I come home from work. I also wish I knew how unreliable ordering parcels would be, they often go missing and staff are less than helpful. Would recommend getting them delivered to the nearby Amazon locker in Liverpool One

One of the main reasons I dislike living in this area is the unprofessional and discriminatory treatment I have experienced. Emails and messages are frequently ignored, and maintenance issues are not handled promptly. For example, my washing machine was broken for three months before it was repaired. I am also often accused of things I did not do, which has caused unnecessary stress. Additionally, utility companies have contacted me using a completely different name and flat number, reflecting serious administrative errors. The management frequently organizes events, yet attendance is extremely low, likely due to their poor reputation and lack of genuine engagement with residents. Overall, these issues have made my living experience frustrating and disappointing.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Silence my washing machine was not working for three months well that speaks a lot about it

I wish i didn’t live here i wish i can take my money back I regret it so bad

As you wished to remain anonymous on your review, I encourage you to email either myself (louised@a-part-of.com) or our resident services manager Reah (reahg@a-part-of.com). The communal concerns that you have raised are not ones that I have been made aware by other residents or by the team - we have dedicated onsite cleaners 6 days per week and we as a team conduct site walks several times per day. You will see from other reviews that we are consistent in how our resident spaces are presented and maintained. Equally, our resident events are enjoyed and appreciated by residents, who offer positive feedback on the variety of events we hold. We are aware that the gym currently does not have wifi, however, our development team are working with external contractors on this - unfortunately, it is out of the teams control, however, we understand how frustrating this must be. I currently do not have any record of apartments that have appliance issues - I would encourage you to raise any maintenance issues you are experiencing to our resident services team: yourhostbhm@a-part-of.com. I do hope that you will meet with us to discuss these matters further.

The area has many plus points with groceries, fuel, healthcare available with 5 mins. It is walking distance to the Birmingham train station and city centre which is ideal.

Yes, prompt action taken to resolve any issues raised.

There isn’t anything that comes to mind as there are no surprises or bad things that we have experienced that we wish we had known about.

Living at Apo at The Holloway has been a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable; you have the best of Birmingham’s shops and restaurants at The Mailbox and Grand Central just minutes away. There’s a brilliant range of bars and local gyms, and the nearby canal walks provide a lovely escape for some open space. Transport links are incredibly convenient, with New Street Station practically on the doorstep, making commuting effortless. Life on the street itself is great—it feels safe, the building management handles bin collections perfectly, and despite being so central, the soundproofing is excellent, so traffic noise is never an issue. The community atmosphere here is top-notch, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone wanting high-quality city living!"

The building management at Apo has been consistently professional and proactive. Whenever I’ve raised a maintenance request or a general query via the resident app, the team has responded rapidly—often within the same day. They don't just acknowledge the issue; they provide clear timelines for resolution and follow up to ensure everything is sorted to a high standard, which makes living here feel very well-supported.

One thing I wish I had known—in the best way possible—is just how much the resident app and community events actually shape your lifestyle here. From a typical viewing, you see the beautiful bricks and mortar, but you don't realize how much you'll come to rely on the app for everything from unlocking doors to booking the shared spaces.
