Nova Varbovka is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is located in Municipality of Strazhitsa, District of Veliko Tarnovo.

The village is located 12 miles away from the Municipal center - Town of Strazhitsa, 16 miles away from the Town of Byala, 32 miles away from the City of Veliko Tarnovo. Other big cities that are close to the village are: City of Targovishte - 40 miles away, City of Razgrad - 45 miles away, City of Ruse - 44 miles away and Town of Svishtov - 48 miles away.

The coastal City of Varna, with its famous beach resorts and international airport is about 113 miles away.

The village is also located at approximately 169 miles to the capital City of Sofia & International Sofia Airport, and about 100 miles away to the City of Bucharest (RO) and its International Airport "Otopeni".

The population of the village is about 250 people.

The territory of the park is marked with signs on the main road Sofia - Varna, as the sites are located on both sides of the road. The roadside park is a great place for a full walk-in nature and an unforgettable time for the whole family with the remarkable views. The park has camps and picnics, as well as barbecue facilities;

- House-museum of the poet Asen Raztsvetnikov - in the village of Draganovo, 18 miles from Strazhitsa. The exhibition presents a collection of documents and personal belongings of the writer, including photos, letters, and autographs;

- "Stara Reka" Eco-trail - located 11 miles from the town of Strazhitsa. In the immediate vicinity of eco-trail "Stara Reka" is a waterfall with a unique natural formation - called "Garbavata cheshma". The water of the waterfall is very calcareous, due to which a rock formation with a length of about 10 meters and a height of over 3 meters has been formed. There is a meadow convenient for camping on the very bank of the river.


DISTRICT OF VELIKO TARNOVO

The Historical Veliko Tarnovo, located on the famous "Yantra River" (the 3rd longest Bulgarian tributary of the Danube River) is one of the most seeked destinations for tourists in Bulgaria.
