Location

The property is situated just a short drive from the popular villages of Duras and Monségur, With thriving communities and a range of amenities and independent shops, restaurants and cafés. 

The large under cover market square in the centre of Monségur is the hub of the village and there is a small market on Tuesdays and a larger one on Fridays.  The River Dropt runs by to the north of the village and there are some lovely picnic spots and walks along its' banks.  Duras is particularly renowned for its' castles and wines and also has a weekly market as well as a good selection of shops, schools, bars and restaurants. 

Other towns and villages in the area that are well worth exploring might be Sauveterre, Libourne, Marmande, Miramont, Eymet and Saint-Foy-La-Grande.  Bergerac is about 45 mins away and Bordeaux airport approx 60 mins
