Living at Duet was a privilege. Purely from the location I was minutes away from MediaCity, and had the Lowry theatre on my doorstep. Across the river was Old Trafford and the food hall in Kargo is incredible. Saying that, I never found the noise to be an issue. It seems that thought was put into making the bedrooms noise-proof which was greatly appreciated! There's about 3 different tram stops in less than a 5 minute walk to take you to center of Manchester, Trafford, Manchester Airport or Salford depending on which way you need to go. I never had an issue with any anti-social behaviour here. Everyone was polite and well mannered
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I only had two maintenance issues in my time of living there and both were fixed promptly and without fuss.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There's nothing to flag. As mentioned, the location of the property is fantastic if you want somewhere close to Manchester but perhaps a little quieter than living directly in the centre. After moving out, I realise that the cost of Duet for what they offer, compared to other places adjacent, is extremely good value for money.

Good aspects of living at Duet are friendliness of residents, support staff and neighboring community. Bad aspects would be lack of parking availability and space crunch.

The building management have been quick to resolve any issues and are so supportive on all aspects.

Parking availability issues was difficult to deal with.

The local transport system is excellent with access to plenty of locations - media city is growing and it's becoming more vibrant

Quickly and efficiently, making sure any issues were dealt with and there were no lasting problems
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would have liked to have known the facilities in the Lowry mall and bars nearby
Manager's response5Hi Sam, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! I am so glad the team has rectified any issues so promptly and efficiently for you. Unfortunately lifts can break down from time to time. If this ever happens, engineers attend as soon as they can. Sometimes when parts are needed it relies on external lead times that we can not control. I understand this can be frustrating, however we have 3 lifts at Duet meaning if one is not in use there are two more. Regarding the gym, we only have a small space here at Duet so we currently have as much equipment in there as is safe to do so. If you'd like to reach out to me directly about any of the above, please feel free.
