Location
Uton is a small hamlet near Crediton, a town that lies some seven miles from Exeter and provides both frequent bus and regular train services to the City. Within the town one would find a variety of individual shops, along with both Morrisons, Lidl and Tesco Supermarkets together with a main bank, library, two primary schools, Queen Elizabeths Sixth Form Community College, a doctors surgery and Leisure Centre with a swimming pool.
Description
The front door opens into the impressive 37' open hallway and sitting/dining room with a feature stone fireplace with woodburner and a further fireplace to the dining room end. The wooden exposed floorboards are also a real feature of the room. An oak plank and muntin screen separates the study/snug with an open fire, parquet flooring and a door to the garden room. To the rear is good size kitchen with a separate breakfast room and a door to the utility with rear porch off. The first floor consists of a large landing area with five good size bedrooms with a family bathroom and en-suite. Outside there is a lovely enclosed cottage garden to the front with the rear being accessed from a gateway incorporating the original farmyard and includes a two storey barn and store in need of some attention. A separate driveway also leads to the large cob and block garage/barn with outline planning to turn into a dwelling and a large partially walled garden to the side.
