This was my first home and continued to be for twenty plus years, that's how much we loved it. The house and location were perfect for us. Many precious memories from the kids growing up playing out in the green space out front and making friends with other kids on the street. To being able to walk to the primary school without being near any roads and endless hours at the park at the end of the road after school. We will miss being so close to South Hill Park and The Lookout / Swinley Forest. The kids are growing up and it's for the next chapter. This will be a great family home and hopefully they will make as many good memories as we have.

Oakengates sits in a really convenient part of Bracknell, particularly for families. You’re within easy reach of well regarded primary schools including Birch Hill and The Pines, and there are plenty of green spaces nearby with Swinley Forest just a short distance away. Local shops are close by, while Sainsbury’s and Bracknell town centre are easily accessible. The location also works well for commuters with straightforward access to the M4 and M3.

We see this style of house quite a lot and one of the things people often do is open up the kitchen into the utility to create a larger kitchen space, which works really well with this layout. The current owners have also been clever with the bathroom upstairs, turning it into a really useful four-piece suite which is ideal for family life. With the west facing garden and the green space at the front, it’s a home that offers a lot of flexibility for the next owners.
