Bonhunt Lodge was originally an agricultural barn adjoining Bonhunt House. The historic market town of Saffron Walden lies some six miles away and offers a more comprehensive range of social, recreational and educational facilities. To the north, Audley End mainline station is about 2.5 miles distant, running regular services to London's Liverpool Street (approx 55 minutes), and to the South, Stansted Mountifchet (in approx 45 mins). The M.11 motorway can be accessed at either Duxford or Bishops Stortford.
