5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
In terms of convenience it really couldn’t be any better. All of the local restaurants, shops and bars are actually within the grounds. The metro and train are literally a 2 minute walk away at Piccadilly. The site is secure and noise isn’t bad considering the city centre location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven’t had any problems but any time we have contacted anyone or requested help from reception we have been satisfied
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wish we knew this site existed earlier! Perhaps advertise better.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area’s really convenient everything you need is within walking distance, loads of food options, good transport links, and it feels pretty lively without being overwhelming. It’s ideal if you like having things going on but still want your own space. No Downsides.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Two people really stood out to me Ed and Lilly. Ed was great: super helpful, always followed up, and brought really good energy. And Lilly… she’s basically the MVP of the building. If Kampus had a secret weapon, it’s Lilly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known how much I’d actually end up using the shared spaces—they’re way better than expected and make it easy to get out of your flat without really leaving the building. Also didn’t realise how quickly the place starts to feel like a little community, which has been a nice surprise.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is ideal for people looking for accommodation in the city centre. It is well connected to all areas and has loads of shops nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had a few issues at the start of my tenancy, and the management has always intervened promptly to help. Each member of staff has tried to help facilitate the process, and I’m particularly grateful to Edmer Samios Uy, whose help made everything easier.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Gym classes and other events for tenants make living in the building much better.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Can't get more central in Central Manchester. Everything you would need is within walking distance.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever I have been to reception they have all been helpful, swift and efficient with every and any request. In particular, Margaux helped sort my WiFi connection on move in day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Bathroom sinks are not pluggable, they have a fixed open drain and no overflow ... so you can't run a bowl of water
Manager's response5Hello Sophie, It's great to hear from you - thank you for completing a review, and such a lovely one at that. It sounds like in a short space of time you've settled right into Kampus and are feeling well at home! It's amazing to hear that our brilliant team have welcomed you warmly and helped you find your feet - we know how stressful and tricky moving into a new home can be, especially in a new place surrounded by new people, and are always eager to help people settle in. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the team, and particularly Margaux for assisting you in your apartment on your move in day. We hope you continue to have a great time here with us at Kampus and only grow in comfortability and peace in your new home.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location round the corner from the station and minutes away from central Manchester. Does get a bit rowdy on Canal Street on weekends where you can hear noise if the windows are open but nothing that is going to keep you awake as the windows are fairly soundproof.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very speedily, any service requests are usually actioned the very next day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the heating unit is impossible to use so it gets very cold!
