It's not often that you get the opportunity for shared ownership in Finchwood Park, this is such a popular development and the homes here are superb. This one is no different! This home really does have some great space on offer and has been extremely well loved and looked after. Our seller has perfectly summed up why not only is this a great apartment but also a fantastic location with so much green space right on your doorstep.

As you can see this home has some fantastic space on offer. The apartment has stacks of storage with a large cupboard to the left as soon as you walk into the entrance hall. It also offers two double bedrooms ,with the master bedroom benefiting from having its own well fitted, ensuite shower room but you've also got an additional main family bathroom just across the hallway. One of the things we love the most is the amount of natural light you get throughout but this is evident most in the impressive open plan kitchen, living and dining room where you have light coming in from windows on three sides.

The kitchen is a great specification with full built in appliances, with plenty of worksurface and storage .Also additionally there is loft storge which is a real bonus. It's also important to note that this home is on gas central heating meaning you also get a gas hob in the kitchen. Outside it comes with two allocated parking spaces but there is plenty of additional parking nearby, you've also got separate bike storage too.

The flat is a perfect first time home. I have lived here since it was first built 6 years ago and absolutely love it. It is wonderfully quiet, no noise from neighbours , and we are only attached below, no attachments either side of us. It is a 15 min drive to Wokingham, 15 min drive to Camberley and a 25 min drive to central reading so situated perfectly for food, social life and work. There is a beautiful nature reserve behind the estates, and lots of play parks. California country park is also within walking distance. Lots of new cafes are popping up and the new Aborfield town centre is sure to be opening in the next 13 months. Brand new Sainsburys has just opened and great schools around the area.

Area Comment...

The home sits tucked away at the end of the development with a corner plot, not far from some green space which is very rare for a newly build house. This is such a fantastic location, Finchwood Park is very desirable with acres of woodland walks right on your doorstep. There is such a great community here coupled also with great school catchments including the popular Bohunt Secondary School. Although this is right on the bus route, both Reading and Wokingham Town Centre are only a short 20 minute drive away where you have a huge variety of amenities including a popular retailers, coffee shops, supermarkets and pubs. There is also a Co-op only a 5 minute drive away for your everyday essentials, but even closer you have the newly opened Sainsbury's with the community centre set to be finished soon too. You also have some fantastic transport links into London with easy access onto the A329, M3 and M4 from here.
