Situation
Coalport is a delightful small village community nestling in the Severn Gorge adjoining the River Severn; the area was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution and is steeped in heritage with the Ironbridge Gorge and museums forming part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and being a premier tourist area. The world’s first iron bridge constructed in 1779 is some two miles to the west and Telford town centre with its excellent range of facilities, including the railway station and access to the M54, is some five miles to the north. Coalport is understood to have been the creation of William Reynolds, one of the 18th century Shropshire iron makers and was the home of the Coalport China Works which was world renowned for its production of china and decorative tiles.

Reynolds Wharf is a prestigious development in an idyllic riverside setting close to the Coalport China Museum; the development includes the sympathetic conversion of some of the original 19th century Coalport China factory buildings together with built detached and three storey mews properties and apartments.

The property
Forms part of a former warehouse sympathetically converted by Messrs Shropshire Homes to create a large family home, retaining many character features including sash windows to the front and metal frame windows to the rear and high ceilings on the second floor. The accommodation comprises an entrance hallway which has a staircase ascending to the first floor and tiled flooring which continues through to the cloakroom/wc and dining kitchen. The cloakroom/wc has a useful built-in cupboard, low level wc and wash hand basin.  The dining kitchen has a range of base and wall units with down lighting, space for double oven and an archway leading to an additional reception room which could be used for a multitude of purposes i.e formal dining room, snug,  play room or entertaining area which has a door leading to the laundry room.  The laundry room has matching base units, inset stainless steel sink and space for appliances.

On the first floor there is a landing with further staircase ascending to the second floor, access to main living room, bedrooms and a luxurious period style shower room/WC.  The living room has a period feature fireplace and sash windows with outlook towards the front.

On the second floor there is a further landing area with linen store cupboard, access to three further double bedrooms and family bathroom/wc.  The primary suite has a high ceiling, fitted wardrobes and door leading to a beautifully appointed wet room/wc comprising shower cubicle, contemporary style basin and low level wc.  The family bathroom/wc has a white suite comprising the usual facilities with the benefit of having a mixer shower over the bath.

Outside
To the front of the property there is a garage and allocated parking space.
How to get there – from Ironbridge proceed along Waterloo Street; at the Free Bridge bear left along The Lloyds and proceed ahead towards Coalport and the China Museum; in Coalport proceed past the Tar Tunnel and The Shakespeare Inn and just beyond the Coalport China Museum turn right down the bank and then immediately left – the property is on the left hand side.
