Description

The Property
Charming two-bedroom home ideally situated on Kentish Town Road, only moments from both Thameslink and Northern Line stations. Meticulously updated by the current owners, the interiors feature a tranquil aesthetic defined by a curated palette of Little Greene tones and the added advantage of a generous loft.

What the owners love about the property.

We’ve really loved living here, especially because of the space itself. The tall ceilings, douglas fir floorboards and large sash windows make it a bright, uplifting space to live in. The sunsets in the reception room and front bedroom are especially special, flooding the rooms with warm light in the afternoon and early evening. We’ve used non-toxic Little Greene paints throughout, and the bespoke built-in joinery and ample hidden storage have made the flat feel both practical and calm.

The area has been just as much of a joy. Hampstead Heath is close by, and the local farmers’ market has been a favourite for our weekly shop. There are great pubs, restaurants, cafés and coffee spots in every direction, and Kentish Town has a genuinely friendly neighbourhood feel. We’ve loved the mix of residential and commercial neighbours, and it’s an easy walk to King’s Cross, Regent’s Park, Highgate and more. A wonderful location for getting around on foot.

Location
About the neighbourhood.....

Kentish Town is a desirable North London neighbourhood, celebrated for its artistic and literary communities. The area boasts a mixture of charming pastel-colour terraces, Georgian terraces and modern homes complemented by a strong selection of independent shops, delis, and restaurants.

The high street is home to a number of local favourites, including The Parakeet pub, Tabac Bar, and Kossoff's bakery. The neighbourhood's pub scene extends to its quieter streets, with highlights including The Pineapple, a beloved local since 1868, and The Southampton Arms, London’s only dedicated ale and cider house. Further underpinning the area's independent spirit is a collection of standout local businesses, including the Italian delicatessen Salvino, bakery Bread by Bike, and Half Cut Market.

Nearby, Hampstead Heath, one of London's most beloved parks, boasts expansive green spaces, city views and sports facilities as well as access to Highgate's swimming ponds, offering freshwater swimming all year-round. Primrose Hill and Regents Park are also nearby offering vast green spaces and stunning views of London. There are excellent options for entertainment in the area including the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, The Round House in Chalk Farm, and KOKO in Camden.

The area is well serviced for transport; Kentish Town underground stations offer connections to the City and Central London via the Northern Line as well as Thameslink services to Kings Cross and Farringdon. The area is also well connected for buses that run into central London and Kings Cross.
