Ashenbury Park is just a few minutes walk away, offering fantastic walks for dogs and families alike, through the woodland and fields. Willowbank Infant and Junior Schools and Waingels Secondary are also a short walk away. If you're commuter, the M4 is close by and it's a few minutes drive to Twyford Station. Sellers View

We’ve loved our family home for more than 50 years, having moved into it as a new-build in 1975. It was the peaceful cul de sac location that first appealed to mum and dad and a perfect environment to raise a young family.

Dad loved his garden, growing all his own plants in the greenhouse and turning the front and back gardens into a sea of colour during the summer. When he wasn’t in the garden, he would be tinkering on cars in the garage and loved the space he had to park his caravan on the large driveway. Mum loved the convenience of being able to walk to Woodley shops to pop into Waitrose or the library, or she would hop on the bus into Reading for a spot of retail therapy.

With both Willowbank Junior school and Waingels College within a few minutes walk, getting to school was safe and easy for us as kids, and having Ashenbury park on the doorstep, meant we always had plenty of open space to enjoy as well. With a Doctors, Dentist, pharmacy, post office and two local convenience stores all within 10 minutes walk, there was everything we needed without having to even get in the car.
Mum and Dad took a lot of pride in their house and we will miss our family home very much, but it’s time now for us to hand over to the next family for them to make their own wonderful memories at our lovely home in Rothwell Gardens

Debbie and Andre's View
What a great home in a fabulous location. The three things that immediately struck us on pulling up to the home was just how quiet this cul-de-sac is. Situated right at the end, there is no passing traffic, making it really safe for children and pets, and super peaceful. The home is set back from the pathway by a lovely large lawn and flower beds, giving it instant kerb appeal, and the driveway parking for several cars is a huge bonus.

Inside the home, we were not disappointed, it's light and airy with well proportioned rooms. The lounge overlooking the front garden is dual aspect enabling light to pour through. The upstairs bedrooms are again spacious and bright, and we were pleasantly surprised by the family bathroom which has a bath and separate shower! Coming back down, there is a refurbished cloakroom, (a must in a busy household) and a kitchen diner with integrated appliances and plenty of space for entertaining.

The garden feels particularly peaceful and is currently home to a greenhouse, shed and garage/workshop, perfect to all those that like to potter! We think this will make a great family home and will be enjoyed by families for years to come.
