Description
TUCKED AWAY FROM THE ROAD AND FULL OF LIGHT AND SPACE, THIS VERSATILE DETACHED HOME OFFERS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, EASY ACCESS TO AMENITIES AND A PEACEFUL GARDEN YOU’LL NEVER TIRE OF.
Our Agent Jodie Says:
“I love how tucked away this home feels – being set back from the road gives it a real sense of privacy and calm, which is something that’s hard to come by. The driveway comfortably fits four cars as well as a single garage, so there’s plenty of space for family and visitors without ever feeling cramped. One of the standout features for me is the setting, it adds something really special. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the occasional deer!
Inside, the layout is incredibly versatile. At the front of the house, there’s a large reception room that you can really make your own – whether that’s a home office, a snug, or even a games room. The rest of the ground floor flows brilliantly, with an open-plan living space that feels bright and airy. The living room leads naturally into the dining area, which sits right by the patio doors – perfect for letting in lots of light and making indoor-outdoor living feel seamless in the warmer months. The kitchen wraps around from here and has a clean, modern feel with its smart white finish and neatly tucked-away appliances, which helps keep everything looking uncluttered.
I particularly like the glass panels in the downstairs doors – they really help light travel through the space and make the whole floor feel even more open.
Upstairs, there are three proper double bedrooms, which is a big plus. The main bedroom has its own en-suite, while the family bathroom is bright and well-designed, with a shower over the bath.
Outside is where this home really shines. The garden has been thoughtfully designed with a bespoke seating area that’s perfect for entertaining, along with low-maintenance artificial lawn and additional patio space for outdoor dining. Backing onto green space, it’s a peaceful backdrop that’s hard to beat.
Overall, it’s a home that offers a great balance of privacy, space and flexibility, with a setting that makes it feel that little bit special.”
Our Sellers Thoughts:
“Living here has been a joy over the last 7 years, my neighbours are wonderful and there are so many great walks nearby.. Locko Park, Hopwell Hall as well as fab farm cafe's like StableView and The Cowshed. I love walking over the fields to Ockbrook sometimes to watch the cricket or pop into Brooks cheese + wine bar. It's been great having friends and family visit with 3 full-size double bedrooms and driveway parking for 4-5 cars, but now my job has changed, I'm not commuting into Nottingham city centre every day and it's time to move back to where I was before, nearer where I'm from and friends and family.
The Area:
Spondon is a suburb on the edge of the City Centre with easy access into the centre and fantastic road links nearby. Within minutes you can be straight onto the A52 with access up to the M1. Within Spondon itself there is a large Asda supermarket, many newsagents shops, a Post Office and other local amenities shops. There are frequent busses through to the City Centre, Pride Park, Ilkeston and Nottingham too! Around the area, there is St. Werburgh’s Primary School and West Park Secondary School, both are highly sought after.
