Mursley is a small village in and also a civil parish in Buckinghamshire. It is located about three miles east of Winslow and about seven miles south west of Central Milton Keynes. Mursley has a water tower which is a well-known Bucks landmark and in 1943 a Wellington bomber hit the side of the tower while en route to Little Horwood airfield in poor visibility.
Sideways Cottage is also ideally situated, with great local schooling with the village primary school in the village and neighbouring Drayton Parslow. Private schools include Swanbourne, Akeley Wood, Thornton and the public school Stowe. Milton Keynes is a short drive and has excellent shopping and leisure facilities and great Road and Rail connections. Also Winslow has the connecting station to Bicester and Cambridge due to open soon. Mursley Village has a great community - and a large farm shop/cafe/ - a 10 minute walk away.
