Description

This isn’t the sort of property you come across often. A four-bedroom waterfront townhouse set right on Conwy Marina, with uninterrupted views stretching across to Deganwy and the Great Orme.

At around 1,450 sq ft and arranged over three floors, the space is generous, but that’s not really the point here. It’s the setting that defines it, the water, the light, and that slower, more considered pace that Conwy does so well. And with no onward chain, the whole process feels refreshingly uncomplicated.

The Tour
You arrive into a generous hallway, immediately practical in feel, with two storage cupboards neatly positioned to one side. To the other, access to the integral garage, importantly, one that genuinely accommodates a car, rather than being relegated to bikes and boxes.

At the rear of this level sits a bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and its own en suite shower room. It’s a flexible space, which is what makes it particularly appealing. With direct access onto the terrace, it could just as easily become a snug, a home office, or a quieter place to retreat with a book.

Up on the middle floor, the house opens out completely. The living space runs the full length, naturally drawing your eye towards the marina beyond. There’s a balcony here too, the sort of place you’ll find yourself returning to, simply to watch the light shift across the water. The room feels bright and open, grounded by wood-effect flooring that adds warmth without feeling heavy.

To the front, the kitchen sits comfortably within the space, fitted with wall and base units and wood-effect work surfaces. Integrated appliances include a fridge freezer, double oven, and gas hob, a new dishwasher has also just been fitted. It flows easily into the dining area, where there’s room for a proper table, somewhere that feels made for long, unhurried evenings with friends.

On the top floor, things settle into a quieter rhythm. Three double bedrooms are arranged here, two with fitted wardrobes and additional storage, alongside the family bathroom. The principal bedroom stands slightly apart, not just for its en suite, but for its elevated marina views, which feel a touch more private from this level.

The Exterior
Telford Close is a quiet cul-de-sac, tucked away and largely free from passing traffic. To the front, a double-width driveway leads up to the garage, making parking straightforward and stress-free.

But it’s the rear that truly defines the setting. A paved courtyard opens out towards the marina, bordered by wrought iron railings and a gate that leads directly onto the waterfront walkway. It’s intentionally simple and low-maintenance, allowing the focus to remain where it should, on the boats, the water, and that ever-changing horizon.

Tenure

It’s a Freehold property, though there is a quarterly charge of about £240 payable to the management company. That contribution goes towards the upkeep of the communal areas, as well as periodic exterior repainting of the properties.

The Location
If you picture somewhere that quietly balances coastal calm with a bit of cultural depth, the marina area in Conwy does it rather effortlessly. It’s one of those places where the setting does much of the talking, right on the water, with that ever-changing light you only really get by the sea, yet you’re never cut off from anything.

From here, you can wander down to the Mulberry, which has that relaxed, family-friendly feel without trying too hard, or take a slower walk out towards Conwy Morfa beach. It’s wonderfully open, very dog-friendly, and rarely feels crowded. If you’re inclined towards golf, the championship links at Conwy Golf Club sit just nearby, proper coastal golf, exposed in the best possible way.

What really elevates the location, though, is how seamlessly it connects to the town itself. Conwy isn’t just picturesque; it’s steeped in history in a way that feels tangible rather than staged. Within a short stroll, you’re inside the medieval walls, passing independent shops, small cafés, and places that invite you to linger rather than rush through. The castle, of course, dominates the skyline, and rightly so. It’s a World Heritage site, yet still very much part of everyday life here.

Practically speaking, it’s well-rounded. There are good local schools, both primary and secondary, along with a range of facilities that make day-to-day living straightforward. Nothing feels too far or inconvenient. And yet, despite that, the marina retains a slightly removed, almost self-contained feel, as though you’ve stepped just enough outside the busier rhythms of the town.

It’s that combination, waterfront tranquillity, historic character, and everyday ease—that makes the area feel quietly special.
