Brown & Co, a UK property and business consultancy, have operated in the Eastern Caribbean region on land and property related projects since 1997. Their objective is to establish a regional base from which to promote and develop further professional work and build a property agency business in the region.
Brown & Co operate from 12 UK offices, located in the Midlands, Eastern Counties and London and have a further office in Torun, Poland and Romania, Eastern Europe, employing some 250 staff across the firm. Marketing, management, development, planning, valuation and investment across a range of land, residential and commercial property to an extensive private client base makes up their UK real estate business. However, they also provide agricultural management consultancy services to landowners, farmers and growers across the UK and Overseas, focused on boosting profits for clients in both agricultural production and gains from land and real estate development.
In addition to residential property marketing from St Lucia, Brown & Co have recently undertaken a major land and property valuation in St Vincent for the proposed new International Airport site in the Argyle district and have also carried out other land and property projects and professional work in Argentina, Barbados, Cuba, Grenada, Dominica, St Kitts & Nevis and St Lucia.
Charles Whitaker who is responsible for the office in St Lucia says “the UK property market is buoyant, interest rates are low and significant equity has been generated in UK property, allowing many home owners to consider 2nd homes and investments abroad. There is also significant wealth in the UK and Brown & Co seeks to use its market position to promote St Lucia residential property and Caribbean property investments to clients and the wider UK public.
The St Lucia office and marketing exposure has proved to be a valuable source of enquiries, both from prospective second home owners, returning nationals and retirees alike. We are also seeking instructions to market Caribbean property both in the UK and the wider Region to meet the demand from our office in St Lucia.” Purchasers and vendors should contact Asnia Ste Marie, office manager in St Lucia at Asnia@brown-co.com
