Arboleas is a small agricultural village of less than 5000 inhabitants and sits alongside the Almanzora river that years ago flowed down to the coast. It is now a dry riverbed until it reaches the Cuevas del Almanzora reservoir and the Canal Remo that was one of the locations for the 2005 Mediterranean games.

The canal is now home to the Lunar Cable Park, an activity location for water sports including zip wire skiing, canoeing, sup boarding and inflatable water assault course.

With shops, banks, supermarket, bars & restaurants, medical centre, in fact everything that you need for day-to-day living as well as a weekly market and a few fiestas, these tick all of the boxes for why Arboleas is known as a traditional Spanish village.

The larger town of Albox is a 10 minute drive away and a visit to the beaches of Vera or Garrucha takes 30 minutes.

Travel times from the property to Almería, Murcia and Alicante airports via the A7/E15 take 60, 80 and 120 minutes respectively.
