TOWN PLANNING
Outline planning permission (TP Ref: 16/00550/OUT) was granted on Appeal in May 2017. A further Outline planning permission (TP ref: 17/01520/RSB) was subsequently granted in November 2017. Reserved Matters consent (TP Ref: 21/01588/RES) was subsequently granted in December 2022, for 25 residential units. Conditions 2, 7, 8, 13 and 20 of the Reserved Matters consent have been discharged, and Conditions 3, 4, 7 and 11 of Outline planning consent ref 17/01520/RSB have been discharged.

Currently, two outstanding applications (TP Ref: 23/01392/VP08 & 23/01381/VP04) have received a resolution to grant approval for the removal of affordable homes and financial contributions associated with the scheme. Both applications are awaiting the completion of the updated/annulled S106 before a full decision is granted.

A Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) payment of £273,573.93 is necessitated as part of the planning requirements, of which the First Instalment of £68,393.48 has been paid.

A ‘Material Start’ (in accordance with the Town & Country Planning Act 1990) has been made on-site (between the 4th & 19th of November 2024), with the Plot 2’s foundation constructed and built to dpc level. All works were inspected and approved by Building Control.
