Torbay Council and Torbay Beach Services, invites offers from parties interested in entering into a Licence for a site at Broadsands Beach for a mobile sauna business. The Licence will be offered for a period of 1 year without seasonal restriction. The Licence is to include the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Tenure
The site will be offered on a 1 year Licence. Rights for access across the Council’s land will be granted in the Lease.
Use
The site is solely for the use of a mobile, self-serviced sauna, the size and type of the mobile sauna must be approved in writing by the Council. The mobile sauna must be removed at the end of each day.
Legal Costs
The incoming tenant will be expected to meet the Council's reasonable Legal costs incurred in the transaction.
Insurance
The tenant is required to obtain their own third party insurance.
Rateable Value
The Site does not currently hold a rating assessment. The Licensee shall be responsible for the payment of any business rates that may become due during the period of their Licence, therefore we advise all interested parties to check with the Local Authority’s non-domestic rates department in respect of their specific intentions.
