The business has been established for over 20 years ago and has been in the very capable hands of our clients for the past 3 years. They are now offering the business for sale due to unforeseen personal reasons. Since ownership they have undertaken a complete refurbishment and invested in new equipment along with fixtures & fittings which are all bought and paid for and included within the sale price which is a huge plus for any new purchaser as additional funds will not need to be spent for some time. Betty's Cafe is owner operated with the help 3 part time members of staff and has an annual turnover of circa £81,000. Deliberately trading under the vat threshold. They serve simple rustic food starting with full English breakfast, sausage or bacon baps, waffles, moving to lunch which includes toasties, jacket potatoes, cakes, pastries, local coffee, various teas, smoothies, shakes, hot chocolates, and some amazing speciality drinks. All fayre is freshly prepared to order on site using only the finest local produce. We believe that there is further potential to increase trade should you wish to do so by opening on Sundays, Mondays or in the evenings. This is something that they do not currently do despite large demand during the holiday season. The business already enjoys a strong reputation within the local community and beyond and as such has a high level of regular and repeat trade along with many visiting tourists.
