Business Description
Veritas Business Sales are delighted to offer for sale this respected Fish & Chip Restaurant which is located in the centre of St Ives, Cornwall. There has been a Fish & Chip Restaurant trading from these premises for the past 80 years and has been in the careful hands of the our clients for the past 4 years. They are now reluctantly offering the restaurant for sale due to other business interests requiring their attention. Since ownership they have redesigned, refurbished, redecorated and invested in new equipment (including a brand new state of the art 5 pan range: (KFE Kiremko Frying Equipment ) along with fixtures and fittings which are all bought and paid for and included within the sale price which is a huge plus for any new purchaser as additional funds will not need to be spent for some time. By The Sea is owner operated with the help of 4 full time and 2 part time members of staff depending on the time of year and has an annual turnover of £400,000. The Restaurant is licenced for alcohol and well known for serving quality fish & chips as well as a range of fresh fish dishes where all fayre is cooked fresh to order on site using only the finest produce. We believe that there is further potential to increase trade should you wish, by expanding upon the current opening times and opening at lunch times in the season as well as joining the online delivery portals such as just Eat and Deliveroo. The business already enjoys a strong reputation within the local community and beyond for quality of food and as such has a high level of regular repeat trade along with many visiting tourists. This is a superb opportunity to purchase a readymade business with further potential which is a great base to build upon and as such early viewing is highly recommended.Â
