Key features

  • Soon to be built Purpose‑built kiosk unit (approx. 10m² internal)
  • Located near Bulwell town centre
  • Expressions of Interest Sought by 24 July 2026

Description

The kiosk is intended to provide a high‑quality refreshment offer, primarily focused on teas, coffees and light bites, supporting everyday use of the park, as well as tram commuters, encouraging people to spend longer in the space.

While this refreshments‑led offer is the Council’s preference, we are open to market‑led proposals and welcome operators who can sensitively expand on this core concept, where appropriate to a public park setting.

The Opportunity
Purpose‑built kiosk unit (approx. 10m² internal)
External serving hatch only (no public internal access)
Designed to support teas, coffees, cold drinks and light food offers
Robust, modern construction with anti‑vandal features
Located within Bulwell Bogs, benefiting from increased footfall linked to wider investment
Self‑contained unit forming part of a wider pavilion with public facilities
Facilities due to be built and open for October 2026

What we are looking for
A clear, viable refreshment‑led proposal suited to a park environment
Experience (or strong capability) in small‑scale food and drink operations
High standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer service
Responsible operation, including waste management and appropriate hours of use, tailored to the season.
An approach that complements Bulwell Bogs and the Pride in Place investment, contributing positively to the long‑term use of the site

How to express an Interest
The application should include your best offer of rent which we would expect your offer to be a minimum of £10,000. Simply submit a return to us by email expressing your interest, a business plan and giving a brief description of who you are and what you intend for the site.
Your business plan should include the following:
• Organisation background and governance
