Iconic Office Space Now Available | The Ship – 'Spirit of Enterprise' Derriford
A rare opportunity to secure office space within one of Plymouth's most recognisable and celebrated buildings. Designed by Sir Nicholas Grimshaw of Eden Project fame, The Ship – Spirit of Enterprise was purpose-built as the head office for the Daily Mail Group and remains a standout landmark within the city.
Rescued from demolition and fully refurbished by BEpropco, the building has since operated as a 55,000 sq ft headquarters facility, most recently as a call centre, and remained fully operational until two years ago. Today, exciting new plans are underway to upgrade the main entrance and atrium, setting the stage for a new generation of occupiers.
The building's front is already bustling with activity, housing Bodyworld, Adrenalin, and Clip n Climb. There is an opportunity for an operator to take over and lease a popular 80-seat cafeteria, creating an attractive environment for staff and visitors alike.
For the first time, businesses can now take smaller, flexible office suites within this iconic structure—enabling you to make The Ship your business base, enhance your corporate image, and align your brand with one of Plymouth's true architectural jewels.
Surrounded by prominent names including Marks & Spencer, Lidl, The Range, Starbucks, Future Inn Hotel, and Practice Plus Group, and located at the heart of the International and Medical Park, this space works hard for your business.
