The property is located in the village of Nadadouro on the Silver Coast of Portugal. It is a very popular village as it gives easy access to the beaches and the main town of Caldas da Rainha, as well as being close to major transportation links.

In the village itself there are cafes, restaurants, mini-markets, ATM.

The village of Foz do Arelho is a five minute drive. In Foz you will find a number of cafes and restaurants, banks, pharmacy, laundromat, several mini-markets and of course some of the most beautiful beaches on the Silver Coast. There is also the stunning Obidos Lagoon which is safe for swimming and where you can also take many water sports classes, or rent equipment, for scuba diving, hang gliding, surfing, kayaking, etc.

Caldas da Rainha is a 5 minute drive away. Caldas is a good sized town with a fabulous town center filled with a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. There are also cultural centers where there is a regular program of music, theatre and performing arts in addition to various events. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase local produce, fruit, vegetables as well as cheeses, breads, flowers and a variety of other local items.

On Mondays there is a large market where you can buy almost anything for the home and garden.

Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are less than an hour away.
