Location:
Hareshaw is a quiet residential area on the edge of Shotts with roots in the area’s historic coal mining, brickworks and shale oil industries. Like much of Shotts, it has a traditional Central Scotland mining-village character, offering relatively affordable housing, a strong local community and easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh via the M8 and rail links. Today it is mainly a semi-rural neighbourhood surrounded by countryside and former industrial land that has gradually become green space, making it popular with commuters and buyers looking for value within the Central Belt.
