The Opportunity

The Majestic Hotel is an excellently located property which has been fully refurbished under the current ownership. Fundamentally a room only operation, the business draws its trade either largely from online bookings agencies with a high repeat level of trade with which it has an excellent reputation, returning customers in particular fully appreciating the location close not only to the promenade and beach but within close proximity to other seafront activities, the famous Britannia Pier being an example and which is only a short walk away.

Formerly coach business based, the business model has been very successfully changed and is now one of the most sought after hospitality locations of choice on North Drive. There is additional scope too, no food or beverage sales at present and there is clear potential to grow this side of the business if desired.

There remains a strong requirement for all year round accommodation in the area not only during the summer seasonal months but there are presently a number of significant infrastructure developments such as Sizewell C Nuclear power-station construction and East Anglia Two wind farm and on-going maintenance of existing windfarms in the area.

Trading Information
