Description
Waterside Place is a distinctive waterfront office development offering high-quality workspace in one of Southampton’s most impressive business locations.
Positioned directly on the water’s edge at Town Quay Marina, the development comprises three detached office buildings arranged around a central courtyard, enjoying outstanding views across Southampton Water towards the Solent. Located approximately 0.4 miles south of Southampton city centre, Waterside Place combines the benefits of a prominent waterfront setting with convenient access to the city’s extensive amenities.
The development provides approximately 50,000 sq ft of office accommodation, with open-plan floorplates designed to provide flexible, modern working environments. Buildings 3 and 5 have undergone significant refurbishment, with accommodation benefiting from features including air conditioning, LED lighting, raised access floors, passenger lifts and shower facilities.
A major advantage of Waterside Place is its combination of city-centre accessibility and generous on-site parking, with the development providing 118 car parking spaces – a particularly valuable amenity for a central Southampton office location.
The location is exceptionally well connected. The A33 is immediately adjacent, providing straightforward access towards the M3 and M27, while Southampton Central railway station provides direct services to London Waterloo. Town Quay itself is a major transport hub, with bus, taxi and ferry connections, including services to the Isle of Wight.
Occupiers also benefit from an excellent range of nearby amenities, with Westquay Shopping Centre, restaurants, cafés, hotels, leisure facilities and Southampton's city centre all within easy reach. Town Quay itself combines offices, leisure facilities and marina activity, creating a vibrant environment that feels very different from a conventional city-centre office location.
Combining impressive waterfront views, high-quality office accommodation, excellent parking and outstanding transport connections, Waterside Place provides a unique working environment for businesses seeking a prominent and well-connected Southampton address.
