Every orchard is designed personally for its owner. You can select your fruit trees, decide how much growing space you would like and create an orchard that reflects how you want to enjoy the land. The pictures on this listing show various designs to give you and idea of what you can achieve.

INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE

1. Working with you to create a space that meets your wishes and providing you with a unique design to scale.

2.Hedging your orchard with Hawthorn and Blackthorn for future privacy and of course to help nature.

3. Purchasing and planting your trees according to the agreed design, you can choose from over 300 fruit tree varieties including: Apple, Cider Apple, Pear, Damson, Plum, Cherry, Fig and many more.

4. We prepare all of the required legal paperwork to have the land registered in your name and submit it on your behalf to Land Registry through the digital portal that we have with Land Registry.

5. Full maintenance of your orchard for the first year.

We are very flexible on orchard sizes and can create an orchard to almost any size that you would like.

Maintenance

Full maintenance for the first year is included in the price. There is an annual maintenance fee that covers the costs of maintaining the common areas and pathways. This is currently £40.00 per orchard and can only increase by the cost of inflation every year. This is the only charge that you are obliged to pay.

We also offer a variety of maintenance options that you an use if you wish, and these include Watering your trees, mowing your orchard and pruning your trees. These services are provided by us and costs are kept as low as possible.

We are a family business, created to help people own and enjoy their own piece of the countryside at an affordable price whilst improving nature and biodiversity. 90% of traditional orchards in the UK have been destroyed as they are no longer commercially viable. It is accepted that traditional orchards like the ones we create offer a huge boost to biodiversity and both existing and new wildlife looking for habitat.

Not Permitted

Bailes Brook is a beautiful and peaceful location and we want it to remain this way. For this reason, no buildings can be erected on the land, nor can storage units or caravans be placed on the land. The land is further protected by an article 4 designation that means the land can not be developed thus making sure that what you but today will remain the same in the future.
