Leicester City Council (LCC) invites applications from Community Organisations to submit their proposals in the form of a Business Case to support an application for Community Asset Transfer (CAT) of Gilmorton Community Centre for a term of up to five (5) years.

Rent is £1 per annum (peppercorn rent). There will be annual fee of £2,500 payable to Leicester City Council to cover administrative costs for inspecting the building and to carry out statutory compliance checks on an annual basis.

Gilmorton Community Centre is located on Gilmorton Avenue in the established Aylestone Ward, approximately 3.9 miles from Leicester City Centre and 3.6 miles from Leicester Railway Station. Situated within a residential neighbourhood, the centre presents an exciting opportunity to re-establish a vibrant community hub serving Aylestone and the wider surrounding area.
