Land at former Southedge Quarry, Brighouse Road, Hipperholme, HX3 8EF

A freehold allocated residential development site extending to 7.75 hectares (19.17 acres), historically an operational quarry and subsequently infilled.

More recently, the site formed part of a larger consented residential scheme, including adjoining, third party owned land to the southern boundary where we are advised a development of 49 dwellings is proposed by Strata Homes Yorkshire Ltd, subject to planning.

The site presents a great opportunity for residential development, subject to the usual consents including satisfactory remediation strategy.

West of Brighouse Road (A614) on the southern fringe of Hipperholme, a village approximately 2 miles east of Halifax.

The main access into the site is off Brighouse Road itself. Brighouse Road leads to the A58 which in turn provides access to Junction 25 of the M62 Motorway 3 miles to the south east. Brighouse railway station which is located 2 miles to the south.
