Business Description
Veritas Business Sales is delighted to offer for sale this established leasehold fish and chip takeaway, occupying a prominent trading position in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent. Established by our client approximately 20 years ago, the business has been operated by tenants for the past three years. Our client has recently resumed operation and is now offering the takeaway for sale to concentrate on other business commitments.
Hartshill Chippy is offered with an extensive range of fixtures, fittings and commercial catering equipment, all included within the asking price and owned outright. The menu includes traditional fish and chips, burgers, pies, kebabs, savouries, sausages, southern fried chicken, accompaniments and cold drinks. Our client is rebuilding the business’s reputation and advises that current average weekly turnover is approximately £4,000, generated mainly from walk-in custom. No delivery service is currently offered, presenting a potential avenue for an incoming operator to explore. The sale includes the fixtures and fittings, together with the opportunity to take a new FRI lease. Year-end accounts are unavailable, and the stated turnover is seller-reported and should be independently verified by prospective purchasers.
A self-contained three-bedroom flat above the premises is available separately at an additional rent of £750 per calendar month. This represents an excellent opportunity to acquire an established and fully equipped takeaway, with scope to develop the existing trade and introduce a delivery service. Early viewing is highly recommended.
