Location

Discover some of the best scenery in Bude as you head along the private pathway direct from Bude Holiday Resort to the South West Coast Path. Nearby is the ruggedly beautiful, Northcott Mouth, a rocky cove, but a sandy beach emerges when the tide is out. At low tide, the wreck of the SS Belem is revealed. Wrecked in November 1917, the propeller shaft was salvaged and used as a metal support for Barrel Rock at the end of Bude Breakwater! Children will delight in the little stream crossing the beach and the rock pools, while surfers will enjoy the waves created by rocky reefs. This National Trust beach has a small car park adjacent to it with an “honesty” box for contributions. There are no toilet facilities. In the summer months, there is a delightful tea caravan with rustic garden set back from the beach. Dogs are also welcome on this beach.

Bude Holiday Resort boasts some fantastic facilities including a heated outdoor swimming pool with splash zone area, adventure playground and bar and eatery. With free entertainment in peak, it's the perfect place for families to have fun and relax. The bar and eatery serves up tasty food.
