Description

Sitting in the eaves of a handsome Edwardian villa, this beautiful two-bedroom flat in Honor Oak Park is full of ‘old world’ atmosphere.

Brickworks Says - This cosy yet spacious two-bedroom apartment spanning multiple floors is part of a grand detached building. Split across two levels and joined via an impressive central staircase, this gorgeous home is roomy, light and romantic. It is also just moments from Honor Oak station.

Once through the elegant entrance porch, the flat is accessed via a winding staircase with a huge lightwell at the top, inviting natural light deep into the centre of the flat. The second floor has one bedroom, complete with a pretty arched window and original fireplace, as well as the bathroom; both of which share sunny south-facing views. The upper level has another south-facing bedroom as well as a super-sized living room with a huge central ceiling skylight and plenty of space for entertaining. Off the living room is the kitchen-diner; a modern Shaker-style kitchen and a stunning original arched window, framing the dining area perfectly.

Honor Oak Park is a popular south-east London spot and it’s easy to see why - with quick links into town, plenty of parks and too many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and bars to mention. Though Honor Oak Vintner wine shop, Miss Margarita sourdough pizzeria and café, and Indian restaurant Babur are definitely amongst locals’ favourites.

The Owners Say - It is with great sadness that my beautiful flat goes up for sale, but it is the right time! There is something very special about this flat which has given me a happy five years. It’s flooded with light as soon as the sun comes out and has a beautiful, leafy view out of each window.

The location is perfect with Honor Oak Park high street on your doorstep and you can make the train with four minutes to spare in the morning. But there’s also a designated parking space on the driveway - even if you don’t own a car, it’s super handy for visitors.

The Honor Oak pub is an excellent spot for food and drink as well as Two Spoons café around the corner and Grounds and Grapes for weekend brunch. Plus, a little further afield, just under a mile away, is the famous Horniman Museum and Gardens - an absolute gem. I really hope someone enjoys the space, light and views as much as I have done!
